Recipe: Red Velvet Marble Cake

Ingredients:
🍨30g Proteus Nutrition Vanilla WHEY Protein Powder
🎂10g Proteus Nutrition Red Velvet Cake WHEY Protein Powder
100g All-purpose Flour
65g Granulated Sugar
10g Cocoa Powder
1 tsp Baking Powder
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/8 tsp Salt
160g Unsalted Butter
60ml Buttermilk
3 Eggs
1/2 tbsp Vanilla Extract
Red Food Colouring (optional)
Directions:
- Add softened butter and granulated sugar into a large mixing bowl. Beat with an electric mixer until the sugar is fully incorporated and the butter is light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time. Ensure each egg is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Add the buttermilk and vanilla extract and mix well.
- Sift the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt into the wet mixture. Fold gently to combine.
- Separate the batter into two bowls. In the first bowl, add Proteus Nutrition Vanilla Ice Cream WHEY protein powder🍨 and fold to combine.
- In the second bowl, sift in cocoa powder, Proteus Nutrition Red Velvet Cake WHEY Protein Powder. Add red food colouring if desired and fold to combine.
- Scoop the batter into a baking pan, alternating between the batters. Swirl the batter with a spatula to create a marble effect.
- Bake at 170°C for 30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean.
- Let cool in the bread pan for 15 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.
- Slice your marble cake into generous pieces and serve!
